Student Visionary of the Year!
Joey's turn for the Student Visionary of the Year campaign, running from January 15 to March 6, for general donations. We can talk about sponsorships starting now!

As many of you know, when I was 10 years old, I fought Hodgkins lymphoma. At that same time, my cousin, Adam, was battling Leukemia. Needless to say, it was a stressful time for our families. Adam thankfully is now a healthy junior at Purdue, and I am 17 and cancer-free. For a while, I wanted to forget about it, missing sports, friends, school, losing my hair…those were the things that mattered when I was 10! But now, I want to take my situation and use it to help others. Help others who are battling blood cancers. I want to help make change, whether that is through research, advocacy, or my mission pillar: patient support. My passion is providing support to other kids like me.
As Blood Cancer United states:
Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible to achieve a world without blood cancer.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, this organization:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer. I'm doing it for...
